Website Privacy Policy
Mountain Solid Healing & Wellness, LLC ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes how information is handled on this website.
- Information you submit. Our contact form collects your name, email address, and message so we can respond to your inquiry. Please do not include health, diagnosis, or treatment details in website forms — clinical matters are discussed only through confidential, secure channels after you become a client.
- How we use it. Contact information is used solely to respond to you and schedule consultations. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Website forms are not a clinical record. Information submitted through this website is processed by our website hosting provider and is not part of any medical or therapy record, and is not protected health information under HIPAA until a treatment relationship is established through our practice systems.
- Email and phone. Standard email and SMS are not fully secure. If you contact us by email, we will keep replies minimal and move clinical communication to secure channels.
- Third-party content. This site loads fonts and images from third-party services (Google Fonts, image CDNs), which may receive standard technical data such as your IP address.
HIPAA & Confidentiality
For clients of the practice, your health information is protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Pennsylvania law. You will receive our full Notice of Privacy Practices at intake, which describes how your protected health information may be used and disclosed, and your rights regarding that information — including the right to access your records, request amendments, and request restrictions on disclosure.
Confidentiality has limits required by law, including risk of serious harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult, and court orders. These limits are reviewed with you at the start of care.
No Surprises Act — Good Faith Estimate
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act ("No Surprises Act"), health care providers are required to give clients who do not have insurance, or who choose not to use insurance, a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services upon request or at the time of scheduling.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency services, including psychotherapy.
- You may ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, and one will be provided in writing at least one business day before the service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
About Our Services
Therapy services are provided by G. Marc Ackerman, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy is provided in collaboration with a licensed medical prescriber; ketamine is prescribed and medically supervised by licensed medical professionals, and its use for mental health conditions other than FDA-approved indications is off-label, which is discussed fully during informed consent. Retreat programs are wellness and therapeutic experiences; participation is subject to screening and written agreements provided before registration is complete.
